The House of Kavina website was fun to design and build, wedding dresses being such a thing of beauty. The main labels retailed by these bridal specialists are showcased in the Lightbox functionality. In this way more styles could be shown without creating over-long pages. The location of the retail store is indicated on an embedded Google Map.

The New Zealand Musicological Society was established in 1981 and launched their first website in 2008, 27 years later. The society's members live in different centres throughout New Zealand, and so the aim of this website is to improve communication and dissemination of information within the members of the society and its committee.

This website serves to advertise the services of Marian Poole, Piano Teacher and Music Critic. Since Marian is also an academic the website offers several academic conference presentations as down-loadable files. Her skills as music critic are demonstrated in online copies of several of the music performance reviews she has written.

The Naseby Vision Incorporated website provides a tool for the committee of this community development group to promote the assests of the Naseby township and surrounding area to the wider public, and to provide information about the work planned and undertaken by members of the Naseby Vision group.

This website for the owners of Annerly House provides information about the Bed and Breakfast establishment situated in Ranfurly in the Central Otago region of New Zealand. The clients wanted a compact, one-page site providing as much information as possible, while presenting an appealing image to prospective visitors.

The City of Dunedin Choir website was designed and built by Goose Tree Web Design, and we maintain the site for the Choir. This website provides public information about the choir and its concerts, and it includes a diary for choir members to keep them up to date with forthcoming commitments.

This web site for the Southern Sinfonia in Dunedin, New Zealand, provides information about the orchestra and its concerts, but above all it is a tool for the orchestra management to collect information about their patrons so that they can regularly update their patrons about forthcoming events. This site employs dynamic drop-down menus.

The Donald Beasley Institute does research in the field of intellectual disabilities, so it was important for them to have their corporate web site designed to be accessible to people with disabilities. This web site complies with Priority Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines stipulated by the Web Accessibility Initiative of the World Wide Web Consortium.

This blog was set up to document the experiences and images from Willem and Leta's trip to Italy, Switzerland, France and the UK at the end of 2006. This is an excellent forum for sharing these experiences with far-flung family and friends, and to preserve these memories for re-visiting in later years.

The library staff at NHNZ Images wanted a blog to use as a tool to promote the sales of video stock footage. This Blogger account was set up for the purpose, with modifications to the template to match the look and feel with that of the corporate image of the NHNZ website. Useful site feed and email subscription buttons were added.

The NHNZ website was designed and built around 2002 by another web developer, but it is currently being maintained by Goose Tree Web Design. As different areas of this extensive website needs updating, the code is also upgraded. We recently implemented a new concept for the programme catalogue in the "our programs" section of the website.

The Brake Centre website was designed and built by Goose Tree Web Design, and we maintain the site for the Brake Centre. The site has a password-protected area for registered users where they can get in-depth news and views about the automotive brakes and hydraulics industry.

The Advisory and Support Centre Otago website was designed and built by Goose Tree Web Design, and we maintain the site for ASCO. Javascript adds a sense of fun and provides information about the destination of the link images on the entry page.

Setback is a forum for sufferers of any medical condition where they can meet and share their stories. The client wanted all the functionality provided by such a forum application, as well as the ability to put up basic information on web pages, but with a very limited budget. The solution was to make use of the very powerful Wetpaint Wiki platform.

A family web site, with navigation panel to the right of the page content. The newsletters contain images as thumbnails to allow for faster loading of the page. The thumbnails are links to larger images of the photographs. The personal history pages are password protected.

These professional personal web pages for a University of Otago lecturer were completed using the official business web design template provided by the university staff. We are responsible for maintenance of these pages.

A web site which provides information about some walking tracks on the Otago Peninsula. A special feature of this site is a map with hot spots that link to pages that describe the walks, as well as links to other related web sites. The menu on this site is driven by Javascript to create the dropmenu effect.

This web site was designed as a proposed add–on to the NHNZ Limited corporate web site, to provide a children's learning experience. This is a good illustration of how the use of Javascript can make the web site interactive. Note the changing tagline at the top menu, showing different text when the mouse hovers over each menu item.

This is a small sample from a rather large web site gifted to Otago Girls' High School in Dunedin, but the site is as yet unpublished. This sample includes only the home page and the "About OGHS" page to illustrate the general layout. Please remember that none of the other links will work.
